Tribulation Now

Great tribulation is happening today against the Christian Church in Syria, Iraq, and North Africa. In fact these modern day saints are experiencing the same difficulties described in The Revelation of Jesus Christ which is also the last book of the Bible. Consider that actual world events are unfolding contrary to the widespread pre-tribulation interpretation that pastors have espoused, sold, and otherwise harassed the flock with since 1830.

The pre-tribulation logical flaw, as I have heard it taught for the past 35 years, expresses the idea  that the final 7 years of Daniel’s seventy sevens prophecy are consecutive years reserved for the great tribulation at the end of this age.  This is contrary to what Jesus said in Revelation because the beast is allotted only half that amount of time:  1260 days, 42 months, or 3 1/2 years.  The other glaring oversight of pre-tribluation teaching is that the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ lasted precisely 42 months or  3 1/2 years.

It is now time to gently wake up my Christian friends and help them understand that a better and more consistent interpretation aligns consistently with all scripture.

Truth from above can be taught with clarity and simplicity and it will always glorify Jesus Christ.  Namely, Daniel’s final one-seven is divided equally where the first half represents the 3 1/2 year earthly ministry of Jesus Christ and the second half represents the 3 1/2 year period of Great Tribulation at the end of this age. The middle of the seven separates the two halves and conceals the Church age beginning from Pentecost until the present day (Dan 9:26-27).  The Spirit helped me to understand while I was searching the scriptures to learn the year of creation (http://www.4164bc.info/year_of_creation.html ).

“It is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.” (Rev 19:10).

Notice that with this approach I do not have to speculate as to what happened to the first 3 1/2 years of Daniel’s final 7  because they have already been fully accounted for during the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ.  Likewise according to Revelation, the final 3 1/2 years are reserved for the great Tribulation at the end of this age and it will also be heralded by the two Jewish Prophets like Moses and Elijah for 1260 days (Rev 11).

When one comes to understand this simple and straightforward interpretation of Daniel’s final seven then major pieces of Revelation can also be understood with clarityJesus predicted that the one true church will endure a time of great tribulation and martyrdom (fifth seal). Afterwards this same church, consisting of all Christians everywhere, will collectively be taken up to heaven at the same instant (sixth seal). The Lord’s rapture of the Christian Church will free up the entire earth to face the wrath of God and the Lamb (seven trumpets). The Jewish people will remain on the earth in the land of Israel, the same inheritance the Lord gave to them, until Jesus returns to Jerusalem (seventh seal).

So what becomes of the Christian Church when the two Jewish Prophets are revealed in powerful testimony during the final 3 1/2 years?

The entire Christian Church as expressed by the fifth seal must patiently endure the great tribulation together while the Beast takes charge of this sinful earth as Jesus reminds us:
“This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people. “ (Revelation 13:10)

God’s people should not be alarmed or dismayed when this happens.  Jesus warned his church in advance.  That is the purpose of Revelation.  The one book we need to retain in our possession for as long as possible is a paper version of the Bible.
